The Buffalo MiniStation Cobalt HD-PETU2 is an ultra-portable external hard drive available in 320, 500 and 640GB capacities. It features a USB 2.0 data interface, a shock-resistant design and comes equipped with the Buffalo Tools Software Suite which sports TurboPC and ECO Manager software as well as Buffalo's Backup Utility.
Additionally, the HD-PETU2 is compatible with 64- and 32-bit Windows Vista, XP, 2000, Server 2003 and Server 2008 as well as Mac OS 10.2.7 or later.
The HD-PETU2's TurboPC software allows utilizes your system's RAM to offer greatly improved data transfer rates (up to 2 times) over standard USB 2.0 devices. Its ECO Manager software allows the HD-PETU2 to conserve battery life on compatible portable devices by minimizing power consumption when connected. Meanwhile, the HD-PETU2's Buffalo's Backup Utility offers Windows users a comprehensive and easy-to-use backup utility. The Buffalo MiniStation Cobalt HD-PETU2 is available in black, white and red.
