Buffalo Technology MiniStation TurboUSB Portable HD-PFU2 is a portable USB hard drive useful for storing, backing-up, and transporting digital images, music, and other files. It's similar to the pricier HDS-PHU2, except that it comes in larger models (up to 500GB) and maintains less features.

Like its peer, however, the unit connects to PCs by an attached USB cable that transfers data at an ultra-fast 480Mbps. Some of its more unique features include Plug-n-Play connectivity; Memo AutoBackup Software for automatic backing-up of files from a PC or Macintosh; and Secure Lock Ware Technology, which allows the user to encrypt their data.
