The C2 Rugged passes MIL-STD 801F standards meaning it is designed to be operational even after drops of 1.22 meters. The C2 Rugged is able to do that thanks to the exterior rubber sleeve and the inner shock absorbers. The rugged design might sound good but this model is only available in 500GB capacity and it only has a USB 2.0 connection as opposed to USB3.0 or network connectivity.
