The Digital Foci Photo Safe II is an external hard drive with a memory card slot. It is designed to copy all the photos off of a full memory card from a digital camera, so that the card can be emptied and the user can go back to taking photos.

The Photo Safe II then copies all of the photos to the user's computer once it is connected via USB. The memory card reader copys at 5.0MB/s, so a 1GB memory card can be copied in 3.5 minutes. It works with all popular card formats. It will copy all formats taken by a camera, including raw images and video. It has a backlit LCD screen that displays battery life, the percent of space used, and a copy status indicator. It also supports multiple partitions, and the active partition is shown on the LCD screen.
