It is a 2006 product, which means it is no longer in production and is rapidly being outclassed by newer systems. It has great connection options, such as USB 2.0, FireWire 400 and FireWire 800. The Fantom G-Force gets its name from the fact that it has a nearly silent, fanless design. The aluminum casing helps keep the hard drive secure and undamaged, as well as aiding the heat management. At the time of its release it was relatively inexpensive, so it is a good choice for a consumer that is looking for an economical one tera-byte option.
