Hitachi XL Desk

The Hitachi XL Desk is an external HDD. This HDD comes with Hitachi's Local Backup Software, which allows you to configure your hard drive. The power adapter for the XL Desk is included. This external HDD will work with your desktop's USB 2.0 and 1.1 ports, and the USB cable is included.

The XL Desk is compatible with Windows 7, Vista and XP, as well as Mac OS X 10.3 or newer. This external HDD differs from the Hitachi X Mobile in that it is made for desktop computer use (and so is not USB powered like the X Mobile), has a larger form factor (3.5 inches as opposed to 2.5 inches) and has model variations with higher capacities than the X Mobile, going up to 2TB. The Hitachi XL Desk comes in a black color.
