The HP SimpleSave Portable Hard Drive is a portable hard drive built to fit in a pocket or purse. When connected to a USB port on a Windows PC it begins to back up data automatically according to pre-configured filetypes, and can be adjusted to copy files from specific locations as well.

When the computer enters idle mode it can be set to check for file changes and copy the new versions automatically. Backups for multiple computers is supported. Power is drawn through the USB port, so there is no need for an external power adapter.
