Imation Pro WX

The Imation Pro WX is a 1.5TB wireless USB hard drive for both Windows and Mac. This product is designed to connect to a single computer, making it ideal for dedicated backups. The point-to-point connection feature reduces the chances of unauthorized access over a network, or accidental overwrites from other nearby machines.

The Pro WX achieves approximately 15 MB/s when transferring files, as opposed to about 30MB/s compared to standard USB 2.0 hard drives. The Imation Pro WX comes with Memeo Backup software, which can do time-saving incremental backups. However, this device cannot do full system backups due to the wireless transfer limitations. 1GB of online storage is also included through the software.
