Iomega eGo Helium

$142.00 Released September, 2008

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Durable casing that is designed to protect the drive from drops of up to 51". High quality casing that is not only durable, but also has a premium feel. Solid file transfer performance, hindered mainly by the USB2.0 connection.

The Cons:Strange that the Mac edition eGo drive is red but with firewire connections for Mac, yet this version has the aesthetics but not the function to match. Whilst the casing is durable, it is prone to scratches.

The Iomego eGo Helium is a thin, lightweight hard drive designed to match the MacBook Air. It comes formatted for HFS+ making it highly compatible with Macs, and it is small enough to fit into a purse, briefcase, or laptop case.
