Iomega eGo Portable SuperSpeed USB 3.0 is a portable hard drive built to be compact and rugged. The drive connects through a USB 3.0 interface (backwards compatible with USB 2.0) and draws power directly through the USB port, eliminating the need for a separate power source or additional cables.
The case is designed to be rugged and prevent damage to the interior, and the Drop Guard Xtreme feature protects the drive from drops of up to 7 feet. An included Grip Band makes the drive easier to carry around to avoid drops as well. The contents are protected by a 256-bit hardware encryption system, and the Iomega Protection Suite is included that helps to eliminate viruses and create easy backups.
