Iomega MiniMax FW 800

The Iomega MiniMax FW 800 is an external hard drive that supports FireWire 800 connections. The drive is compatible with both PC and Mac computers, and has a 3-port USB hub built in for additional connections as needed.

It is capable of transfer rates of 480 Megabits per second when connected to a USB 2.0 port, and 800 Megabits when connected to FireWire 800. 1 or 2 Terabyte storage capacities are available, and an 8 Megabytes of cache ensure that data keeps moving without having to wait for seek times. The drive is less than 2 inches thick and 6.5 x 6.5 inches square, making the 2.29 pound device easier to carry around.
