Iomega Professional

$114.00 Released June, 2007

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Runs very cool, even during long periods of reading/writing. Fairly small form factor for this storage capacity. Detects immediately in Windows 7.

The Cons:Noticeably slowdown in write speeds during longer tasks. Onboard software incompatible with Windows 7. Drive does not go into sleep mode and must be powered off when not in use.

The Iomega Professional has an eSATA interface designed for speed.  It makes the Iomega Professional ideal for consumers who need to use their external hard drive frequently, not just to back their system up occasionally.
