The LaCie Hard Disk is a 1TB or 2TB external hard drive which comes in two versions. The basic version has only a USB 2.0 connection and therefor a maximum transfer rate of 35MB/s whereas the expanded version has USB 2.0, two Firewire 400 ports, and 1.5Gbits/s eSATA which boosts the maximum data transfer to 80MB/s.
