LaCie Minimus USB 3.0
$179.99
Released October, 2009
The Pros:Transfer rates through the USB 3.0 port are very fast, a nice replacement for eSATA. Setup is extremely easy, just plug it in and follow the setup assistant for a quick format. Stays cool all the time without needing a fan.
The Cons:Some compatibility issues with older operating systems such as Windows XP. Ports in the back are cheaply made, seem very delicate. Power button on the back means it needs to be placed where you can have access to it all the time.
The LaCie Minimus USB 3.0 is an ultra-compact USB 3.0 desktop disk that has superspeed USB 3.0 or USB 2.0 performance capabilities.
When comparing the LaCie Minimus USB 3.0 to other compact disk drives, it is super small, and still maintains a high-quality fast performance that is able to hold all of your data.
