LG XG1 Chic

The XG1 Chic is a mid-priced external hard disc drive from LG. The XG1 Chic can support the SATA II connection, which means that it operates at a speed of 3Gb/s. This speed is faster than the old 1.5Gb/s standard, but is not at the level of the newer 6Gb/s standard.

One advantage of the SATA II connection is that it has a lower power consumption rate than the SATA III. The eSATA interface connects the XG1 external HDD to your computer. The 3.5" form factor makes the XG1 a fairly compact unit. The LG XG1 Chic has an LED lamp on the front panel. The LG XG1 Chic is available in 1TB, 1.5TB and 2TB capacities.
