Synology iUSB2

The Synology iUSB2 is a portable external hard disk enclosure designed to store a single 2.5” SATA hard-disc drive. It can connect to a Windows, Macintosh, or Linux system via a USB cable, after which it can be utilized as a secondary storage device.

The SATA drive must be purchased separately, but is supposedly easy to install. Included also is a fan-less aluminum sink design that dissipates heat with any moving parts. Additional features include compatibility with Synology NAS servers; Synology Data Replicator 3 backup software; and a 2-year guaranteed warranty.
