Toshiba Portable Hard Drive
$80.00
Released June, 2009
The Pros:Attractive design, looks sleek and high-end. Usage is very easy, just plugs in and works right away. Very compact design, can put it in a jacket pocket without a problem.
The Cons:Sometimes needs to be unplugged and plugged back in a few times to be recognized. Glossy finish collects smudges and fingerprints all the time.

Dave Ryan:
#toshiba_portable_hard_drive I have owned it for 2 days, connected to my Macbook Pro. It disconnects during use, very erratic in restarting the drive. Also, there is no "on/off" light so it is harder to figure out the status. Customer support is 3 phone numbers away from the phone number provided, and is a toll call. After 10 minutes on hold the recording advises you will be called back, but I haven't been after an 8- hour wait.
